June 1st 8-9PM EST Riding the Emotional Wave and Doing What Matters: A toolkit for handling big emotions while staying true to your values with LeAnn Levering, LCSW

Big emotions can make it hard to think clearly, stay grounded, or follow through on what matters most. In these moments, many people either try to shut emotions down completely or become overwhelmed by them.

This workshop offers practical, evidence-informed tools for navigating emotional highs and lows without losing yourself in the process. Participants will learn skills for noticing and making space for difficult emotions, calming the nervous system, responding instead of reacting, and staying connected to personal values even when emotions run high.

Rather than waiting to “feel better first,” this workshop focuses on building the ability to carry emotions more flexibly while continuing to move toward a meaningful life.

LeAnn Levering, LCSW, MSW, MBA, specializes in ADHD-informed therapy and evidence-based skills training for adults. Diagnosed with ADHD in her 40s after years in high-pressure tech industry roles, she brings both clinical expertise as a therapist and lived experience as a late-diagnosed adult with ADHD to everything she does.

LeAnn provides individual psychotherapy and has developed a comprehensive 12-week ADHD skills curriculum synthesizing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, executive function coaching, and motivation science. She trains fellow clinicians and develops evidence-based interventions for adults with ADHD. Her professional mission centers on helping adults with ADHD gain agency and well-being through direct clinical work, professional training, and building tools that meet the ADHD brain where it actually is.
