Cynthia will discuss the meaning of interoception and its role in maintaining health and balance in our lives. She will share how interoception is challenging for neurodiverse individuals and highlight ways to improve interoceptive awareness, including exercise.

Cynthia Romanzo, PT, ACC, CAS is the owner of Mindful Balance ADHD Coaching, a practice in Bergen County, NJ that specializes in supporting individuals and families with diverse needs. She started her career as a physical therapist, working in brain based rehabilitation and pediatrics. She has a unique perspective on the dynamic mind-body connection and links between physical movement, sensory systems, cognitive processes and emotional control. Her current work focuses on coaching, consulting and educating, with a holistic, neurodiversity affirming approach.
