Attention Deficit Hyperactivity & Behavior Disorders Service Virtual #How To College: From Chaos To Control

Open to all current and incoming college students across the United States
Do you struggle with disorganization? Have you had trouble keeping track of your assignments or submitting your work on time? Has your academic approach felt a bit chaotic or scattered? 

College students who struggle with ADHD, executive dysfunction, or general disorganization may face challenges relating to tracking assignments, managing materials, managing time, and planning effectively. Led by our esteemed clinical psychologists, Christopher La Lima, PhD and Sol Wahba, PhD, this #How To series is dedicated to providing organizational skills training to target these areas as you prepare for your next year in college.
 

During the 2-hour virtual workshop, you will learn strategies to:

  • Improve motivation to stay organized

  • Keep track of physical and electronic materials

  • Increase time management

  • Plan daily, weekly, and monthly schedules

  • Improve academic productivity 

  • Decrease family conflict related to disorganization at school

 

The workshops will be held 4 times throughout the Summer:

  • Monday, July 17 @ 6-8 PM EST

  • Tuesday, August 1 @ 6-8 PM EST

  • Monday, August 14 @ 6-8 PM EST

  • Tuesday, August 22 @ 6-8 PM EST

Cost: $100

Please note the following:

  • Each workshop will take place via WebEx. You may need to download the WebEx application prior to joining. 

  • Please note that these workshops are informational, not psychiatric treatment, therefore coverage by insurance is not possible.

  • Each workshop is self-contained and will review all of the above strategies. Please register for only 1 session. 

  • Parents are welcome to participate in the meetings.
